The Fairfield Police Department’s Investigation Bureau has been working around the clock investigating the shooting from Monday afternoon. This evening the investigation lead to the arrest of a 16-year-old male Sacramento resident. The juvenile is believed to be the only person responsible for the shooting and a firearm has been recovered. Based on research conducted during the investigation we have determined the victim and the suspect knew each other and this was not a random attack.
The juvenile has been booked into Solano County Juvenile Hall for three counts of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of a loaded and concealed firearm, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a juvenile, and wearing a mask to evade identification.

Fairfield Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday, November 20, 2017. Officers received reports of gunshots at 4:30 PM in the 1300 Block of Travis Boulevard. Responding officers located evidence of a shooting in the parking lot, and the victim was located away from the scene after a friend attempted to transport the victim to the hospital.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center via ambulance with life threatening injuries. Detectives from the Investigations Bureau responded to the scene and are actively investigating the shooting. No further information is available at this time.
