#012 Stolen Vehicle (In-Custody): 
Officers received a notification of a stolen vehicle and Traffic Officer Malcomson subsequently located the vehicle on N/B I880.  The vehicle exited Alvarado Niles in Union City and stopped at a gas station.  The two occupants, a male and a female, were arrested without incident and booked at FPD Jail.

#021 Petty Theft
Target (Hub) loss prevention detained a 28 year old female for theft. She was taken into custody by Officer Bordy and booked at Santa Rita Jail.

#022 Vehicle Fire
A reporting party calls in a vehicle on fire in the 100 block of Mohave Com and states there is a male standing next to the car with a gas can. The male is described as a white male adult, 40-50 years old, scruffy beard, 6’2”, last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. Officers Catassi and Francisco were unable to locate anyone in the area. 

#029 Outside Assist for Union Pacific Railroad
A call came in from the Conductor of the ACE Train, stating the train may have struck a person on the tracks in the area of Sequoia Rd and Foxtail Tr, not far from the Centerville Train Station. Officers responded and determined a deceased male was located under one of the passenger cars of the commuter train. Friday commuters all stayed on the train during the lengthy investigation. We secured the scene and Union Pacific took over the investigation when they arrived.

#007 Residential Burglary Attempt
A heavy set light skinned male made entry into a side yard of a residence in the 4600 block of Flamingo Park Ct and attempted to pry open a screen door with an unknown tool.  The suspect was not able to make entry into the house and there was no loss.

#008 Commercial Burglary
Unknown suspect(s) gained entry into a storage unit in the4800 block of Thornton Ave.  Loss reported was power tools and electronics. 

#025 Battery, Resisting Arrest and  Under the Influence
Officers were sent to the Rockin’ Jump to investigate a report of a fight in progress.  It was reported that 20 people were involved in an altercation in front of the business.  Officers responded with lights and siren and found a male adult holding a screaming woman in a modified bear-hug.  The male was ordered to release the women.  At this point the woman immediately took off on a dead sprint towards the freeway.  She was identified as the aggressor.  An officer gave chase and after a short run he was able to catch the women and together they fell to the ground.  Additional officers arrived and after a brief struggle were able to safely handcuff the female.  The female was identified as causing fights in several businesses; however nobody wanted to be victims or prosecute the female.  It was determined that she was (extremely) under the influence of H&S.  The 36 year old (Fremont resident) female suspect was taken to a local hospital for clearance and then on to the jail for booking.   One officer suffered some minor abrasions during the incident. 
 
#005 Speed Contest
Officer Manrique stopped two vehicles for racing on Stevenson Blvd near Blacow Rd.  Both drivers were cited for speed contest along with various smog violations.  The vehicles were both towed.   

#030 Interrupted Residential Burglary
At 10:34 p.m., officers responded to a report of an interrupted residential burglary in the 43700 block of Greenhills Way.  A resident returned home and found a suspect inside of his house in possession of their jewelry.  The suspect ran away upon being discovered via a second story window, which was also most likely the point of entry.  Officers arrived on scene and set a loose perimeter before entering and clearing the victim residence.  A CHP helicopter was summoned to assist and it helped clear the greenbelt area to the rear of the location.  Officer Madsen and K-9 Niko were used to manually clear the area in concert with the helicopter.   Ultimately, the suspect was not located.  The only loss appears to be jewelry.  Sgt. Kindorf managed this incident.  The reporting officer is Ofc. Cordero Gonzales. 

#031 Missing Person
At 10:55 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Stern Pl in regarding  a 72 year old missing person.   Per the missing person’s family, she had left the home without her identification, no credit or other access cards, and clothing not commensurate with the nights very cold temps.  Due to a medical condition, she was considered At-Risk.  Officer B. Johnson is the reporting officer and he coordinated the investigative steps including searching her home, door-to-door contacts with neighbors, grid search of the city north of Decoto and east of 880 and an attempt at a K-9 track.  As the night went on, the missing person was not located.  The following morning, social media was utilized to post the missing person’s photo.  At 10:00 a.m. a community member recognized the female, as she was sitting on a curb in the area of Fremont Blvd. and Stevenson Blvd., approximately 5 miles from her home. She was cold and tired, but otherwise unharmed.

#015 Armed Robbery
At 12:46 p.m., patrol units were sent to O’Reilly Auto Parts in Brookvale to investigate an armed robbery.  The victim said that the suspect brandished a firearm and stole his backpack.  The suspect was described as a white male adult with brown hair, in his 30’s.  The suspect vehicle was described as a tan Chevy S10 pickup.

#020 Shoplifting
Officers were sent to the Walmart store on Albrae to assist with a possible shoplifting case.  The suspect was being followed inside the store because of an in progress theft and became disruptive.  As the patrol officers were arriving, the suspect joined up with another associate and left the store.  Walmart employees followed them to a vehicle parked in the lot and pointed them out to officers.  Their vehicle, a gold Acura was reported stolen out of Oakland.  A  27 year old adult female, Oakland resident, a 47 year old adult male (suspect in the store) and a 44 year old adult female (suspect in the store) were detained and eventually arrested for possession of stolen property, stolen mail, grant theft, drugs and warrants.
 
#027 Robbery
Officers responded to a reported robbery at the Safeway located in Warm Springs.  Two females and a male stole $2,000.00 of liquor and tried to pepper spray the clerks.  The suspects fled in a Grey Honda Civic, 4D.  Officer Catassi is investigating the case and completing follow up on all leads.  Suspect descriptions:
Suspect #1-Black female adult, heavy build, approximately 30 years old and wearing a black hat and a tan shirt.
Suspsect #2-Black female adult, wearing a brown jacket and blue jean jeans, carrying a brown purse.
Suspsect #3-Black male adult, wearing a dark sweater and carrying a sports duffle bag.
 
#001 Possession of Burglary Tools
At 12:47 a.m., Officer Manrique was checking an occupied vehicle at Irvington Park when he located a male sleeping with a handgun on his lap.  Officer Manrique called for assistance and several units responded.  The subject was slow to awaken but eventually complied with commands.  The handgun was found to be a BB/pellet gun that resembled a Beretta.  The look of the pistol appeared very realistic and even had a laser tool taped to the front of it.  The  male told officers he had it for protection.  During a search of his person a shaved key was located along with a glass smoking pipe containing a blackened residue, consistent with methamphetamine.  The 26 year old was arrested for possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools and a probation violation.  Sgt. Kindorf managed the incident.

#031 and 032 Vehicle vs. Ped and Possession of Methamphetamine
At 10:52 p.m., officers were dispatched to an injury collision, auto v pedestrian, in the area of Stevenson Blvd and Omar St.  The driver called FPD Dispatch and said the pedestrian purposefully stepped out in front of his vehicle.  He left the scene but did return when he was requested to do so.  The pedestrian was taken to trauma center for his injuries.  A witness told officers that when they walked up to check on the welfare of the pedestrian, he asked them to remove a large amount of drugs from his pocket.  When EMS staff removed his clothing at the scene, officers found the pedestrian, a 38 year old adult male, Fremont resident, to be in possession of approximately 30 grams of suspected Methamphetamine.  A complaint will be sought for possession.
