*Update* #LASD- Homicide is Responding to a Death Investigation, 9500 block of Cedar Street, Bellflower, Lakewood Sta

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of a 23 year-old female Hispanic that occurred on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 6:26 p.m., in the 9500 block of Cedar Street, Bellflower. 

Deputies responded to a residence in the 9500 block of Cedar Street, Bellflower, in response to a "person not breathing" call. Upon their arrival, they discovered the victim unresponsive in the bedroom of her residence.

Paramedics responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. According to the victim’s husband, they had been out drinking the night before. When they returned home, the victim and the husband both fell asleep. The husband awoke later that afternoon and discovered his wife unresponsive and not breathing.

The victim’s cause of death is unknown at this time. 

There is no further information available at this time.

The investigation is on-going.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
