Deputies recover 431 marijuana plants during a search warrant

SUSPECT(S): Banlang Sayachack, 60 year old resident of Squaw Valley
Souvanna Homesombath, 47 year old resident of Sacramento
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 20, 2017, at 8:40 a.m, deputies from the Sheriff's Colorado River Station served a search warrant on the 15000 block of Alamo Road, in Big River. Deputies contacted and detained Sayachack and Homesombath during the service and found 431 marijuana plants at the rear of the residence. The marijuana plants were seized as evidence. Both Sayachack and Homesombath were issued citations for Health and Safety Code 11358, Unauthorized Cultivation of Marijuana. Per San Bernardino County code 84.34.040, it is illegal to cultivate marijuana in the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County.
