#LASD #Lancaster Station Detectives are seeking the Public's Help to identify Attempted Kidnapping Suspect.

Lancaster Sheriff's Station Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying an attempted kidnapping suspect.

On Wednesday, November 1st, 2017, at approximately 6:30 pm, the suspect, a black male adult, 30-40 years old, attempted to kidnap a 17 year-old victim. The victim was waiting at a bus stop on the 44300 block of Sierra Highway in the city of Lancaster when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect offered the victim a ride home, but the victim refused. The suspect then drove around the block, returned to the bus stop, exited his vehicle, a white 2-door older model Toyota pickup truck, and began chasing the victim. The suspect grabbed the victim by his jacket, but the victim was able to get away and run to safety where he called 9-1-1. The suspect returned to his vehicle and drove away. The victim did not sustain any injuries.

The suspect is described as a male black adult, 30-40 years old, slim build with old acne scars on his face. He was wearing a black V neck t-shirt and dark jeans.
