Janesville Police looking for owner of Dog that bit a pedestrian

The Janesville Police Department is looking for a female dog owner whose dog bit another person. The victim was walking past a female in the 200 block of N. Academy. The female was described as; white, approximately 5'6", athletic build, with long gray hair, a large nose, and a dark black sweater with jeans and tennis shoes.

The female had two adult German Shepherds. One of the dogs bit the victim in the lower extremities. The victim was treated for the injury. The unknown female provided a name and phone number. However, that information proved to be false.

Anyone having information on the identity of the person is asked to contact the Janesville Police Department at 608-757-2244 so the bite order paperwork can be served.
