PSA - STREAM DUMPING

The City of Oneonta Engineering Department would like to remind the public that it is unlawful to dump leaves, snow and other debris in any of the City’s creeks or the Susquehanna River.
This covers Silver Creek, Oneonta Creek, Glenwood Creek and the Mill Race. Piles of debris and snow may cause blockages in the waterways causing local flooding.
The public is requested to watch catch basins in your area to keep leaves from blocking them.
