May 1987 David Simpson was found shot to death inside his Owasso home. He was last seen alive by his wife before she left their house. When she returned a few hours later, she found the house ransacked and Simpson dead. He was a devoted racecar driver and fan who spent time at a local speedway in Tulsa. Simpson is featured as the 6 of diamonds in the OSBI’s Cold Case Playing Cards. These cards are being sold to inmates at several Oklahoma Department of Corrections prisons. Inmates typically make good informants for law enforcement.
