The Macungie Police Department is reminding residents to lock their vehicle doors. Neighboring departments have taken reports of UNLOCKED vehicles being entered and items removed from the vehicle. Of all the neighboring incidents we have heard of they all have been unlocked vehicles, however, Macungie PD took a report of a locked trailer being entered overnight.

We would just like to remind residents that if you see anything suspicious or out of place to please contact us. We often hear residents tell us they didn't want to bother us with minor things. We don't mind taking your call no matter how minor it may seem.
