Incident Summary:
On November 14, 2017 at 11:41 pm an officer on patrol observed a known Sonoma County probationer in the area of the 100 block of Petaluma Blvd. N. The officer identified the probationer as Harley Hubbard and was aware from prior contacts that she was on probation for vandalism. Hubbard’s probation terms required that she submit to warrantless search and seizure of her person and property.
When the officer attempted to contact Hubbard she initially refused to comply with his orders and attempted to walk away from the area. The officer attempted to detain Hubbard by taking control of one her arms and Hubbard responded by punching the officer. As the officer continued to attempt to detain Hubbard he was able to take her to the ground. Hubbard continued to actively fight the officer and proceed to bit him repeatedly on his arms. Upon the arrival of additional officers Hubbard was taken into custody without further incident.
Incident to arrest a search of Hubbard revealed that she was in possession of drug paraphernalia as well.
Hubbard was later transported to Sonoma County Jail and booked into custody or violations of 1203.2 PC, violation of probation, 148(a)(1) PC, resisting arrest, and 11364 H&S, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hubbard and the officer were both uninjured during this incident.
