Sheriff's Office Warns of Possible Disaster Assistance Fraud 
The Lake County Sheriff's Office has receivied reports of a possible fraudulent scam involving diaster assistance. If you received a letter from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for possible disaster loan assistance and you did not apply with FEMA or SBA for disaster assistance and feel this communication is in error, please report this matter directly to both the SBA Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 and the National Center for Disaster Fraud at (866) 720-5721.
