| IL 14 EVWR Railroad Crossing Closure East of McLeansboro Hamilton County |
| Jeffrey L. Keirn, Region Five Engineer for the Illinois Department of Transportation, announces that there will be a road closure at the railroad crossing on IL 14 east of McLeansboro, approximately three and one-half (3.5) miles east of the IL 14/IL 142 intersection in McLeansboro. Beginning Tuesday, November 14th. at 6:00 am and concluding on Wednesday, November 15th. by 7 pm, crews from the Evansville Western Railway (EVWR) will be performing repairs on the railroad crossing on IL 14. There will be no traffic permitted through the crossing during the repairs. Motorists should follow the marked detour or seek alternate routes to avoid delays. |
