Rohnert Park Improvements Update: Redwood/Commerce Rehabilitation and University District Development: Brookfield Homes

Rohnert Park Improvements Update

November 10, 2017

 Redwood and Commerce Rehabilitation

Roadway striping on Commerce Boulevard was completed this week. Due to weather, the contractor was not able to stripe Redwood Drive. That work has been rescheduled for next week. Minor delays can be expected, but Redwood Drive will remain open.

If you have questions or concerns about construction activities, please call the project hotline at (707) 540-9955.

Rohnert Park Improvements Update

November 10, 2017

  University District Development: Brookfield Homes

Contractors will continue performing utility and construction improvements on Rohnert Park Expressway between Snyder Lane and Petaluma Hill Road. Temporary traffic control measures will be in place.

The project is waiting for the permanent power to be established at Rohnert Park Expressway and Knight. This was scheduled to be performed last week but PG&E crews have been working to restore power in the fire damaged zone.

PG&E has not yet confirmed the new date. Once the date has been established then the software engineer, traffic control engineer and electrical contractor will need to coordinate their schedule to allow for the optimization of the traffic control system along Rohnert Park Expressway. Until that time the lights will remain on red flash as this is the safest configuration for the new intersections.

Allow extra time for your travels and make alternate travel arrangements if possible.

If you have questions or concerns about construction activities, please call the project hotline at (707) 540-9955.
