GRAND THEFTS
On Tuesday, Oct. 31st, around 12:40 p.m., three black male suspects grabbed multiple display phones from the 31000 block of Courthouse Dr., then fled on foot. They were identified by another agency, and one of them, a 15-year-old Oakland resident, has been arrested.
 
On Wednesday, Nov. 1st, between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., a specialized bike was stolen from a Union Landing business.
 
Between Wednesday, Nov. 1st at 7 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 2nd at 9 a.m., all four tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle in the 31800 block of Alvarado Blvd.
 
On Friday, Nov. 3rd, around 3:40 p.m., a suspect stole a display phone from a business in the 31800 block of Alvarado Blvd.
 
On Saturday, Nov. 4th, around 1:20 p.m., two black male suspects grabbed two laptops from customers in the 1700 block of Decoto Rd., then fled in a white Dodge Neon.
 
ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
On Wednesday, Nov. 1st, around 12:20 p.m., Ofc. Solverson was dispatched to the 33400 block of 5th St. on the report of a disturbance between tenants and a landlord. The victim said the suspect pointed a handgun at her juvenile son. The suspect, a 52-year-old male out of Lathrop, was arrested for assault with a firearm.

INDECENT EXPOSURE
On Friday, Nov. 3rd, around 9:50 p.m., Ofc. Smith was dispatched to the 1800 block of Decoto Rd. on the report of a male who was exposing himself in front of a business. Jesse Montez, a 46-year-old Union City resident, was arrested for indecent exposure, lewd conduct, and drunk in public.
 
ROBBERY
On Saturday, Nov. 4th, around 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 32100 block of Alvarado Blvd. on the report of an armed robbery. Two suspects entered the store with handguns, and demanded money from the safe. They then fled on foot. The first suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, light complexion, 6’0” and about 175 lbs. The second suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, about 6’0” with a thin build, and a full beard.

BURGLARIES AND CAR THEFTS
 
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES
From Monday, Oct. 30th through Sunday, Nov. 5th, there were two reported residential burglaries and one attempt:

  • 2100 block of Decoto Rd.: Occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 31st, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Entry was made via an open window, and the loss included electronics.
  • 2600 block of Decoto Rd.: Occurred on Tuesday, Oct. 31st, around 9 p.m. The suspect entered through an unlocked rear window, and fled on foot when the victims arrived home. The loss included jewelry and cash.
  • 5000 block of Anaheim Loop (attempt only): Occurred on Saturday, Nov. 4th, around 2 a.m. An unknown suspect attempted to climb through a window, but was scared off by a witness.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARIES
From Monday, Oct. 30th through Sunday, Nov. 5th, there were two reported commercial burglaries:
  • 31600 block of Alvarado Blvd.: Occurred between Friday, Oct. 27th at 2:30 p.m., and Monday, Oct. 30th at 6:30 a.m. The padlock was cut off a storage shed, and the loss included tools.
  • 2600 block of Dowe Ave.: Occurred between Monday, Oct. 30th at 4 p.m., and Tuesday, Oct. 31st at 7 a.m. The padlock was cut off a shipping container, and the loss included tools.
AUTO BURGLARIES AND VEHICLE THEFTS
From Monday, Oct. 30th through Sunday, Nov. 5th, there were 17 reported auto burglaries. Fourteen of the burglaries occurred at the Union Landing shopping center, and most of them involved backpacks and electronics that were left in plain view on the seats or floorboards.

From Monday, Oct. 30th through Sunday, Nov. 5th, there were eight reported vehicle thefts. As of the time of this report, five of the vehicles have been recovered.
