Details: On Thursday, November 09, 2017, at approximately 12:26 AM, Corcoran Police Department made a traffic stop on a Mitsubishi Sport SUV that was being driven without properly displaying license plates. The traffic stop was conducted in the 800 block of Norboe Avenue and the driver was identified as Victor Azdar-Martinez. Subsequent to the traffic stop officers conducted a search of the vehicle and located a 12 gauge shot gun, a loaded .357 Magnum revolver and 1.6 pounds of methamphetamine. Officers also located over eight thousand dollars in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the .357 revolver was a stolen firearm. Martinez was arrested and booked into Kings County Jail. Martinez was charged with possession of a controlled substance for sales, transportation of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a concealed stolen firearm, and possession of stolen property. Martinez's bail was set at $385,000.00.
