On November 9, 2017 at 10:59 AM, Union City Police Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Lisa Drive in Union City regarding a subject who is in need of medical attention.
Officers arrived and located a male laying in the middle the street and paramedics were already on the scene performing CPR. First aid efforts were ultimately unsuccessful and the victim succumbed at the scene.
The victim may have been involved in some sort of dispute with family members prior to the medical call. At this time, no cause of death has been determined and it is unknown if foul play is involved. The victim is described as an adult male who is approximately 50 years old. We are in contact with the Alameda County Coroner’s office and will not release any information pertaining to his identity until next of kin notifications are made. Union City Police Detectives are investigating the case to determine what, if any, crime has occurred.
