Armed Robbery, Stop N Go Store located at 714 Center Avenue
On 11-09-17 at approximately 1:30 a.m. the Janesville Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Stop N Go Store, 714 Center Avenue.
The clerk at the store reported being robbed at gunpoint by a suspect described as:
- Black female.
- 5'3" to 5'6" tall.
- Wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, purple socks, thin black sweatpants and grey slippers.
- Left the store in an westbound direction, on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and Newport 100 cigarettes.
The clerk was uninjured during the robbery.
Rock County Sheriff's deputies assisted by providing a K9 to track the suspect. At this time the suspect hasn't been located, and our investigation is ongoing.
