Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Bellport business last month.
A man entered Bellport Smoke Shop, located at 1640 Montauk Highway, on October 16, 2017 at 2:38 a.m., displayed a gun and demanded cash. The cashier complied and the suspect fled on foot. The robber, whose face was covered, was wearing a tan sweater and carrying a floral backpack.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
