On November 6, 2017 Detectives with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and the Rutherfordton Police Department charged and arrested Andrew Patrick Crosland, Branson Allen Conley and Collin Ray Hipp, for vandalism that was reported to multiple businesses, churches, residences and the Rutherford County Detention Facility.
The vandalism occurred on October 29 and October 30, 2017 on Whiteside Road and in the city limits of Rutherfordton.
The arrest comes from a week long joint investigation between the Rutherfordton Police Department and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office.
Detectives with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and Rutherfordton Police Department would like to thank the Rutherford County Schools and the citizens of Rutherford County for their assistance in this case. With these combined efforts the individuals were identified, charged and arrested.
Andrew Patrick Crosland, Branson Allen Conley and Collin Ray Hipp have all been charged with (6) counts injury to personal property, (5) counts injury to real property and (1) felony count injury to building/fence/wall.
