...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST THIS MORNING... The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM EST this morning.
* LOCATIONS...portions of the western Piedmont of North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and extreme northeast Georgia.
* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less at times.
* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult.
* AFFECTED AREAS: CABARRUS ... GASTON ... MECKLENBURG ... ROWAN ... UNION
Instructions:
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down... use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
