Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the people who stole merchandise from a Setauket store last month.
A man and woman entered Game Stop, located at 4048 Nesconset Highway, on October 23 at approximately 12 p.m. The man took an Xbox One game console from behind the counter while the woman distracted the clerk. Both then fled in a silver four-door Mazda. The male suspect is described as white, 6 feet 4 inches tall, with curly brown hair and a chin-strap beard. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. The female is described as white with long curly brown hair and was wearing a gray T-shirt, black leggings, and black sneakers.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
