On Saturday, 10-28-17 at 4:10 p.m., an armed robbery occurred at the T-Mobile store on Gellert Boulevard in Daly City. The suspect brandished a handgun inside of the store and robbed nine separate customers of their cell phones. The suspect fled the store in a stolen vehicle.
Lester Wayne Lewis, a 24-year old resident of San Francisco, was identified as the suspect in this incident. Daly City Police Detectives took Mr. Lewis into custody on 11-01-17 at 11:00 p.m. on the 6900 block of Bancroft Avenue in Oakland. At the time of his arrest, Mr. Lewis was armed with a loaded firearm and was in possession of a vehicle stolen from San Francisco. He was booked into the San Mateo County Jail in Redwood City.
