(Railroad Flat, CA) On 10/31/2017 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisted the Bureau of Land Management and TRIDENT (Tri County Drug Enforcement Team) in serving a search warrant for an illegal marijuana grow near the 2000 block of Independence Cemetery Road, Railroad Flat. After securing the scene law enforcement personnel seized 595 marijuana plants, approximately 400 pounds of processed marijuana and 7 firearms. The marijuana grow was eradicated upon completion of the law enforcement investigation. Gregory Garner (age 33 of Railroad Flat) was arrested for 11358(d)(3)(a) H&S cultivate marijuana in violation of 1052 water code, 182(a)(1) P.C. conspiracy, 11366 H&S keep/sell controlled substance, 11358(c) H&S cultivate more than 6 marijuana plants and 11359 H&S possess marijuana for sale. Garner was booked into the Calaveras County Jail on $100,000 bail.
