Deputy arrests two after clocking two vehicles in excess of 100 mph on US 41. 
On October 30, 2017, at 11:23 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel observed two vehicle traveling southbound on US 41 near County Road 550 South in excess of 100 mph. With the assistance of Sergeant John Fischer the stopped a White 2013 Dodge Passenger car that was driven by 20 year old Cody Brown of Allendale, Illinois and a Blue 2013 Dodge Avenger driven by 21 year old Demontrell Dunbar of Evansville, Indiana. Upon stop ping the vehicles near Casey’s General Store in Fort Branch a roadside investigation was conducted. At the end of the investigation Deputy Kiesel placed both individuals into custody and transported them to the Gibson County Jail.
Cody Brown, age 20 of Allendale was charged with Reckless Driving and Being involved in a Speed Contest. He has since posted an $1100 bond.
Demontrell Dunbar, age 21 of Evansville was also charged with Reckless Driving and Being involved in a Speed Contest. He also was charged with Possession of Marijuana. He has also posted bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
