Halloween Registered Probation Sex Offender Checks

The Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office and the Janesville Police Department conducted Halloween checks of register sex offenders currently on probation. The purpose of the checks was to visit residencies of registered sex offenders on probation and verify compliance with conditions related to their registered status and rules concerning behavior during Halloween.
37 homes were visited in the City of Janesville. Two arrests were made for Probation Violation in violation of those terms.
