At about 8:00 a.m., Missing Person, Richard Abruscoto, was located walking on Janss Rd. in Thousand Oaks by a patrol deputy. Mr. Abruscoto was found safe and in good health.
Multiple resources were utilized in searching for Mr. Abruscoto, inlcuding Sheriff's Search & Rescue, Sheriff's Aviation Unit, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Thousand Oaks Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART), Volunteers in Policing (VIP), Patrol, and Traffic Bureau. VC Alert and Nixle were also used to notify area residents of the missing person.
