Hemlock Road will be paved tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1, 2017, beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the southwest portion of the road (closest to Hainesburg River Road) and will conclude on the same day.

Sections of the road will be closed starting at Hainesburg River Road and progressing northeast. Residents north of the paving crew will be able travel north on Hemlock to exit. The road will reopen in the same direction as the closure when the asphalt cools to a sufficient temperature to allow vehicle traffic.

Orange traffic cones on the road will be removed by the Public Works Manager when it is safe to drive on the new asphalt. The Township will not be responsible for damage to cars traveling on the road before it is officially reopened.

Residents parking on Hainesburg River Road or Mount Pleasant the night before and on the day of construction, to ensure that they can get in or out without difficulty, will not be ticketed.

Bus stops on Hemlock may be affected on November 1 for North Warren Regional and Knowlton Township Elementary schools. The schools will contact residents regarding changes.

Sanico's trash and recycling pickup will still occur on November 1. They will begin their route on Hemlock, which means trash pickup will occur between 5 AM and 7 AM, before the road work starts. Recycling will also be collected at that time.
