Officers responded to a hit and run collision. A delivery truck struck wires causing the pole and wires to fall down. The road was closed for a short time period.

Arrest: 40 year old male, resident of Tennessee; 32 year old male, resident of Walnut Creek
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, possession of a loaded firearm
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon contact, officers observed a loaded firearm on the floorboard of the vehicle. One occupant was found to be in possession of a controlled substance and the loaded firearm. He was arrested and booked into Main Jail.

Arrest: 30 year old male, resident of Santa Clara
Charges: Possession of a controlled substance, probation violation, tampering with a vehicle
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious subject tampering with a vehicle. Upon arrival, two subjects were located as they were stealing the battery from a vehicle engine compartment. The male was determined to be on searchable probation. A search yielded methamphetamine. He was arrested and transported to Main Jail.

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located and recovered by the San Jose Police Department a few hours after the report.

Officers responded to a report of a subject within the property of a business. She had been previously admonished not to return. She was arrested and transported to Main Jail on trespassing charges.

Arrest: 32 year old male, resident of San Jose
Charges: DUI
Officers responded to a non-injury collision and determined that the involved driver exhibited the objective symptoms of alcohol intoxication. The driver was arrested for DUI and transported to Main Jail.

Arrest: 5 male juveniles
Charges: Possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools, curfew violation
Officers responded to a report of a prowler on a residential property. Upon arrival, officers located three juvenile subjects fleeing the area. Officers conducted further investigation which led to the discovery of two additional juvenile subjects attempting to get picked up from the area by a third party. The suspects were determined to be in possession of burglary tools and stolen property from other possible thefts and burglaries. All five juvenile suspects were arrested, cited, and released.
