Police Investigate Child Death
On Oct. 27 around 4 p.m., Jackson police responded to a call at the Hermitage Apartments, located at 189 Old Hickory Blvd. An 8-year-old male was found unresponsive inside his home. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His body was transported to the state Medical Examiner’s Office in Nashville to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
Although police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the child’s death, Investigators are not seeking a suspect in this incident.
