NOTICE
Weekend of November 3, 2017, the Maryland Search and Rescue Team will be hosting a training exercise at Cunningham Falls State Park and the surrounding area. Event includes several search scenarios. The exercise may filter into Thurmont, at which time citizens may see what appears to be suspicious person(s) in the area. If observed, please contact law enforcement at 301-600-2071. Thurmont PD will then confirm if the person(s) are participants or not. Thank you.
