...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN ATLANTIC...OCEAN...SOUTHEASTERN BURLINGTON...MONMOUTH AND EASTERN MIDDLESEX COUNTIES... At 900 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that rainfall rates will be on the decrease. However, up to three or four inches of rain have already fallen. Runoff from the heavy rain will continue to cause flooding of roadways, areas of poor drainage, and small streams and creeks. Some locations that could experience flooding include... Toms River, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Atlantic City, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Ocean City, Sandy Hook, Edison, Lakewood, Middletown, Old Bridge, Jackson, Howell, East Brunswick, Sayreville, Marlboro, Manalapan, Carteret and Barnegat.
