Over the weekend officers from The Janesville Police Department worked on tips that the public provided through P3 tips. Officer Erlien developed a suspect and went to 1902 E Memorial Drive. At approximately 4:24 pm Officer Erlien took Joseph Kjornes into custody on a restraining order violation.
Officers from the patrol division worked through the investigation and developed probable cause to arrest Joseph Kjornes for theft greater than 2500.00, a felony. Those officers are still working through the investigation and processing a multitude of property related to the case. The investigation will continue through the next few days.
Mr. Kjornes is currently being held at the rock County jail on a felony charge of theft.
