Drive-by Shooting Injured 27-year-old Man
Las Cruces police are continuing to investigate Thursday evening’s drive-by shooting that injured a 27-year-old man.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, Las Cruces police were dispatched to the report of shots fired on the 1700 block of Idaho Avenue. Officers arrived to find a 27-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he’s listed in critical but stable condition.
Investigators learned the victim was walking west along Idaho when a sedan pulled alongside him. Multiple gunshots were fired from within the vehicle, striking the victim.
