Mobile Command Visits Tractor Supply
Las Cruces police have parked its Mobile Operations Command center at the Tractor Supply Company and officers will have an increased presence in surrounding neighborhoods through Saturday afternoon.
The MOC is parked outside Tractor Supply, at 1440 W. Picacho Ave., until 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. The MOC will be manned 24 hours a day. Officers will work out of the MOC and have ‘round the clock patrols in surrounding neighborhoods and in the business district along Picacho Avenue and Valley Drive.
Residents of surrounding neighborhoods are invited to stop by the MOC, visit with an officer, and discuss any safety or law enforcement concerns they may have.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, LCPD will hold a free Ident-A-Child clinic from noon to 4 p.m. at the MOC. Parents and caregivers are invited to take their children to the MOC to receive a free ID card with their child’s fingerprints and other identifiable information.
