Nature of Incident: Prowler Report Number: RB #17-162881 Location: 800 Block of Saint Charles Drive, Thousand Oaks Date & Time: October 25, 2017 @ 0300 Unit Responsible: Thousand Oaks Police Department – Investigations Bureau, Patrol (S)uspects, (V)ictims, (P)arty, (D)ecedent City of Residence Age (S) Unknown (V) Adult Female (V) Adult Male Unknown Thousand Oaks, Ca Thousand Oaks, Ca. 19-20 20 20 Narrative: On October 25, 2017, at approximately 3:50 A.M., the Thousand Oaks Police Department responded to a prowler call in the 800 block Saint Charles Drive. This is the second call for service regarding a prowler in the apartment complexes on Saint Charles Drive near McCloud Drive in the past 4 months. During both incidents, the residents had left their sliding glass patio doors open. At approximately 3:00 A.M. the residents awoke to a prowler inside their residence. The male resident confronted the prowler who was attempting to flee. A struggle ensued and the prowler was able to escape via the back patio. Thousand Oaks Police Department Detectives responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. The prowler has been described as a Hispanic male, 6’0”, 165 pounds, approximately 19 to 20 years old and wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans. Detectives have spent the morning and afternoon canvassing the neighborhood and business for additional suspect information. The Thousand Oaks Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the prowler depicted in the composite sketch.
