Newman CA – On Friday, October 21st at about 10:40 p.m., Newman PD officers, and deputies were dispatched to a drive-by shooting on Orestimba Road near Interstate 5. When they arrived at the dead-end Orestimba Road west of Interstate 5, they found two women who had been shot. Emergency services personnel attempted life-saving measures, but both women were pronounced deceased at the scene. The women have been identified as 29-year-old Lisa Herger of Patterson and 27-year-old Tiffany Herrera of Newman.
The dead end of Orestimba Road is a remote area of the Stanislaus County, and detectives are asking anyone with information to call Detective Hickman at 525-7042. There is no suspect information on this investigation.
