National Prescription Drug Take-Back Campaign. Discard unwanted meds on Sat., Oct. 28, 2017 from 10am - 2pm.

The City of Redondo Beach will take part in the DEA organized National Prescription Drug Take-Back campaign on Saturday, October 28, 2017. The DEA is coordinating the campaign which is a collaborative effort with state and local law enforcement agencies to collect potentially dangerous controlled substances from medicine cabinets.The National Prescription Drug Take-Back addresses a vital public safety and public health issue.

Redondo Beach will have the following site available:

200 N. Pacific Coast Highway
Redondo Beach, CA 90277

10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

What you can bring:

  • Unused, unwanted or expired prescription drugs or over the counter drugs (do not need to be in original container)

What you can’t bring:

  • Illicit substances such as methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana
  • Liquids
  • Hypodermic Needles ("Sharps")

This program is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
