October 21, 2017
1:30 p.m.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office is lifting evacuation orders in the following areas.  If you live in these areas, you can return now.  There will be more law enforcement personnel in your neighborhood to keep you safe.  You do not need to check in with anyone and you do not need a law enforcement escort.  You can access your property as you normally would.
Geyserville:  North of Highway 128 and Vanoni Road in the burn area is now open, as defined by the newly opened road below:

  • Ridge Oak Road at Fox Ridge Road
To see if your address is evacuated, use the online, up-to-date evacuation map for Sonoma County available at
For additional information, call the Sonoma County Emergency Operations Center at: (707) 565-3856.
The County is working on resuming garbage service as soon as possible.  Some areas are without power.  If your home does not have electricity, PG&E anticipates restoring service to essentially all electric customers by late Monday.  If your home does not have gas service, please visit and click on "wildfire response" for a gas relight schedule or call 1-800-743-5000.
Conditions are subject to change at a moment’s notice. Please continue to adhere to road closures and any evacuation warnings. If you see electrical wires on the ground, stay clear and contact PG&E immediately. Trees and poles with deep charring, particularly if still smoking, should be considered hazardous. Please drive slowly and yield to emergency personnel in the area. If at any time you feel unsafe, please call 911. There will still be smoke in the respective areas as firefighters continue firefighting operations. We encourage the public to remain prepared for wildfires by visiting
All other mandatory evacuation areas are still closed.  We will send an alert for each area as it re-opens.
