Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews are reparing a 12-inch main break in the median of Kalanianaole Hwy., between Nenue St. and West Hind Drive.
The left west-bound lane will remain closed during repair. Motorists are advised to avoid the area, if possible. Police officers are diverting traffic around the break site. The BWS continues to work with State and City agencies to implement traffic mitigation measures.
The break was reported shortly before 6 p.m. A water wagon will be positioned at 5233 Kalanianaole Hwy., and another one will be placed in Punahele Pl. for the 33 customers who will be without water during repair.
