Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two men who stole items from boats at a Hampton Bays marina earlier this month.
Two men stole fishing poles and fishing gear from four boats at Oakland’s Marina, located at 373 Dune Road, on October 5 between 3:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. The stolen items have an approximate value of $12,000.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
