On Thursday October 19, 2017, the Simi Valley Police Departments Narcotics Unit concluded a four month long investigation into an ecstasy dealer who was providing dangerous drugs to members of our community. A search warrant was served at the residence of Nathan Duong (20yrs) of Garden Grove, Ca. Duong was arrested for a violation of 11378 H&S- possession of ecstasy for sale and 11379 H&S – Sales of ecstasy. During the service of this search warrant, ecstasy and over two pounds of marijuana were recovered along with over $800 in suspected drug proceeds.

Ecstasy is synthetically produced stimulant that is usually made in pill form. It is known to come in many different shapes and colors and is very popular at concerts, raves, and festivals. Often manufactured in homemade laboratories, the potency of these drugs fluctuates greatly increasing the potential for an overdose.
