Narrative:
Camarillo patrol deputies responded to an in-progress burglary at the Vu Pharmacy, resulting in the arrest of three suspects.

On 10/18/17, at about 0400 hours, a Camarillo patrol deputy was in the parking lot of the Vu Pharmacy providing extra patrol because of prior pharmacy burglaries in the area. The patrol deputy heard a noise inside the business and at the same time the deputy heard the noise, Sheriff’s Dispatch advised patrol deputies of an alarm at the same location.  The deputy on scene then saw two subjects crawling out of the closed business through a broken front door.  The deputy confronted the suspects and a foot chase ensued.

The suspects (Jose Carrasco and Martimiano Carrasco) ran to an awaiting car that was driven by Bianca Rodriguez.  All three suspects were able to flee the area in the car.  The deputy who was chasing the suspects on foot was able notify Sheriff’s Dispatch of the vehicle description and a broadcast was made to patrol deputies.   Approximately five minutes after the broadcast, a patrol deputy spotted the vehicle on Lewis Road near the 101 Freeway.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the suspects inside the vehicle were positively identified as the suspects from the burglary.  A search of the car yielded evidence linking the suspects to the burglary.    All three suspects were taken into custody and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail, without incident.

Detectives learned that the two male suspects are known gang members from San Fernando Valley.  Camarillo Detectives were also able to retrieve security video footage from the pharmacy and it confirmed the suspects’ participation in the crime.
