Denville PD seeking assistance identifying driver of green 4 door sedan involved in a pedestrian crash on Rt 53 on 10/18/17 at 9am. 
At approximately 9:02 a.m. on 10/18/2017, the Denville Police responded to the area of East Main Street (Route 53) underneath the Route 80 overpass on a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle had properly stopped and sought assistance for the pedestrian, who at that time refused to seek any assistance. As such, the driver left the area.
At this time, we are attempting to identify the vehicle and its driver in order to obtain a statement about what occurred and to properly document the incident. It should be noted that the driver did not improperly leave the scene and only left after being instructed to do so by the pedestrian.
The vehicle involved is described as a green colored, four door sedan and the driver was described as a middle aged, white female.
