Full Notification

At 2:20 a.m. Walnut/Diamond Bar Station deputies responded to the 57 freeway near Tonner Canyon to assist the Los Angeles County Fire department with a quickly spreading brush fire.  The fire was in two areas of the freeway, but with the quick response of the fire department the fire on north side was extinguished.  The fire on the south was able to spread which caused a few lanes to be closed during the morning commute, but the fire was completely contained by mid-morning.
