Timely Warning - Strong Arm Robbery

Strong Arm Robbery

UCPD Case # 17-02875
On Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at approximately 3:58 p.m. a strong arm and an attempted robbery occurred at the Crossroads Student Dining Hall.  A female student was sitting at a table near the Pete’s Coffee shop with some friends.  The two suspects approached the table.  One of the suspects grabbed the victim’s laptop.  The victim fought back and was punched in the face by the suspect.  The suspect fled with her laptop.  The other suspect attempted to take two other laptops unsuccessfully.  Both suspects were last seen fleeing south on Bowditch towards People’s Park.  UCPD and BPD searched the area for the suspects.  The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at a local emergency room.
The suspects were described as:
Suspect #1: A Black male, 17-18 years of age, 5’8” in height, 180 lbs., with a dark complexion, short black hair, wearing a navy sweatshirt with a circular logo and dark pants.
Suspect #2: A Black male, 15-16 years of age, 5’10” in height, 130 lbs., with a dark complexion, short black hair, wearing a black long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and a gold chain necklace.
