The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
October 16th
0301 Hours: Officer Losier investigated a non-injury auto accident on the 5100 block of Tenaya Avenue.
11:13 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a multi-vehicle non-injury accident on Thornton Avenue at Laurel Street.
1336 Hours: Officer Lenz responded to a disturbance on the 37400 block of Cherry Street. A 26 year old Newark male was arrested for battery and subsequently booked into the Fremont Jail.
1510 Hours: Officer Wang investigated a single vehicle roll-over injury accident on the 8300 block of Central Avenue. The driver refused medical aid and was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license and not having proof of insurance.
