DETAILS: Between August 16th and September 3rd of 2017, four (4) homes in the Brookshyre development were burglarized. Forced entry using prying tools was made through windows at the back of the homes which caused damage. The homes were ransacked, but property from only one of the homes was taken. Through diligent investigation by members of the Detective Bureau, a juvenile suspect was identified and charged. Juvenile petitions were prepared, and the Juvenile was released to the custody of his parents pending a future date at the Mercer County Superior Court, Family Division.

DETAILS: Ptl. Robles investigated a theft from a construction site where the following was reported: RJG Contracting is building a new home on an excavated lot. Their equipment consisting of a Honda 5500 watt generator, air compressor, and ladders were left at the site secured to a support pole with a lock and chain. When the company owner returned to the site after the long holiday weekend (Labor Day), he discovered his equipment had been stolen.

DETAILS: Patrol units were detailed to the Mercer County Community College on the report of CDS use at the gazebo near the East parking lot. College Security detained two males including Ahsan Shaikh who were seated at a picnic table under the gazebo. Investigation revealed that Shaikh had a clear plastic baggie containing THC gummy bears in his pant pocket, and inside his book bag was a glass jar containing two plastic baggies containing marijuana and rolling papers. On the floor of the gazebo was also a glass pipe containing marijuana residue. Shaikh was processed at WWPD Headquarters. He was released pending a future date at West Windsor Municipal Court.

DETAILS: Ptl. Barber initiated a stop of a 1996 Dodge van for an inoperable taillight. During the stop, Antonio Jimenez, was found to be in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana including a rolled “joint” and a vape pen containing marijuana wax. Jimenez was also in possession of drug paraphernalia which included a marijuana grinder and rolling papers. Jimenez was processed at WWPD Headquarters and released pending a future date at the West Windsor Township Municipal Court.
