Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who attempted to rob a North Babylon store last month.

A woman entered Party City, located at 1239 Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon, on September 16 at approximately 3:00 p.m. She approached an employee with her hand in her jacket pocket, motioned as if she had a weapon, and demanded cash. She is described as white, with a thin build and glasses. When the woman walks her left leg turns slightly inward. She left without any proceeds.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
