Traffic stop leads to the arrest of duo. 
On October 13, 2017, at 7:08 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of State Road 68 and US 41 on a Tan 2002 Chrysler Sebring for disregarding a traffic signal on US 41. Upon approaching the vehicle the occupants attempted to hinder Deputy Smith’s investigation by giving false information as to who the actual driver of the vehicle was. After a brief investigation 35 year old Ralph Rouzier of Washington, Indiana a passenger in the vehicle and 21 year old Brooke Wolven of Washington were taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Rouzier was charged with False Informing. He has since posted a $550 bond. Ms. Wolven was charged with Driving While Suspended PRIOR and she has posted a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
