Advisory evacuation remains in place for Agua Caliente. High winds expected.

ADVISORY EVACUATION for Agua Caliente remains in place. Advisory evacuation means residents should consider preparing for potential to leave should the incident worsen. Residents in Agua Caliente, particularly Cavedale, Moon Mountain, Kearney, La Placita, Richards, Theodore, Hooker, Oak Tree, London and E Agua Caliente Roads are under an advisory evacuation. 
 
Because of the forecast for increased winds this evening, please stay vigilant in being prepared to evacuate if a mandatory evacuation is ordered.
 
In the event of an Evacuation:
If an evacuation is ordered, we want our residents to be as prepared as possible. Have a bag packed and ready to leave, and plan to be gone upwards of 4-7 days.

  • Notify relatives to make sure they are aware of your location
  • Bring medications
  • Make sure you have cash and credit cards
  • Gather pets or make arrangements for their safety.
  • Collect personal needs and supplies
  • Make a written list of contact information for loved ones
  • Pack extra chargers for electronics
  • Tell your trusted neighbors or family/friends of your plans
  • Check on your elderly neighbors and provide help if you can
